Happy New Fiscal Year!

As we close the books on 2011, and turn the page on a New Year at Front Range Laboratories, we wanted to take a moment to thank you for your business. We have many loyal customers, you among them, whom we are honored to work with each and every day. We take great pride in the relationships we have built over the past 15 years, and as we move into 2012, we look forward to strengthening those relationships, continually working as your trusted sciencepartner.

Toward that end, we would like to share some noteworthy developments at Front Range Laboratories from the past year. We are excited because these are investments not only in our future, but in our ability to serve you better. Rest assured that as we continue to grow, we are still dedicated to providing you with the same knowledgeable and personal support. And once again, thank you for choosing Front Range Laboratories for your testing needs.

We Moved!

We expanded our service offering and doubled our personnel with the lease of a 4,500 sq ft facility in downtown Loveland, Colorado. The addition of state-of-the-art equipment, expanded service offerings and technical staff necessitated our move to this more efficient facility. Our new space is a perfect fit for our growing business; we are able to offer a wider range of testing services and our Northern Colorado location continues to be a draw for employees and customers alike.

We Joined The Compounders Group

We seized the opportunity to increase our support to the industry by becoming a vendor member of The Compounders Group (TCG), a group dedicated to serving the business of compounding pharmacists. This means that compounding pharmacists who are TCG members and Front Range Laboratories customers will be eligible for benefits pre-negotiated through TCG. If you are a member of TCG, and would like to learn more about these benefits, please don’t hesitate to contact us. If you’re not a member, or haven’t heard of TCG yet, we encourage you to check out their website or call us for more information.

We Got a New “Toy”

Last but not least, we made a serious investment in our instrumentation at the end of 2011. We are proud to announce that we house the first commercial installation in the US of an Agilent Microwave Plasma – Atomic Emission Spectroscopy (MP-AES). As you may know, it is used for heavy metal analysis, from baseline detection to active ingredient analysis. This is a completely new technology, a hybrid between older atomic absorption technology and higher-end inductively coupled plasma (ICP) analysis. Simply put, it enables cutting-edge testing. We consider this addition a testament to the depth and breadth of high-quality analysis that we can provide. We have other, similar investments in the works for 2012 and we will keep you apprised of them as they happen. In the meantime, please don’t hesitate to call me if you’d like to learn more about this new capability.

We hope that you share our excitement about these developments and our optimism for a successful New Year. I will be in touch throughout the year with similar updates. In the meantime, please don’t hesitate to contact me with any questions or comments.

Sincerely Yours,
Michael Travis
